UPDATE: Thank you so much for your interest in the Clean Slate Program. We’re truly inspired by the incredible response from our community, solidifying our goals at VI Justice Initiative. At this time, our program is operating at full capacity, actively serving 100 clients.
While we are not currently accepting new applications, we’re grateful for your enthusiasm and encourage you to stay connected with us as space becomes available. Your interest means a great deal, and we look forward to supporting you soon.
Our Clean Slate Program provides free full service legal representation for expungements in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The way to become a client is to complete a Clean Slate Application form when our application window is open for new Clean Slate applications.
Dedicated application windows allow our small team to:
Ensure every client receives zealous representation
Carefully guide each client through the expungement process
Give each client the best opportunity to obtain an expungement from the court
Maintain the efficiency, quality, and success of the program
This means that while applications are not open year-round, new opportunities to apply are offered throughout the year.
