Clean Slate Program Introduces Application Windows

The Virgin Islands Justice Initiative is moving the Clean Slate Program to an application window structure—designed to better serve each client while continuing to expand access to expungement.

After an incredible response from the community, the program is currently at full capacity, actively supporting 100 clients with free, full-service legal representation. Moving to dedicated application windows allows our team to give each case the time, care, and advocacy it deserves—while creating more opportunities for program intake throughout the year.

While we are not currently accepting new applications, we are grateful for our community’s enthusiasm and encourage potential applicants to stay connected with us as space becomes available. New application windows will be announced regularly. 

The Clean Slate Program remains committed to helping Virgin Islanders move forward—with clarity, dignity, and a real second chance.
